Das St.Peter ist immer wieder ein Erlebnis. Dieses Mal waren wir anlässlich meines 65. Geburtstages da. Es war wieder rundum großartig. Danke!

Essen, Ambiente und Kellner waren top! Preis Leistung passt für das was man bekommt!

We had the pre-fixe "surprise" menu and were extremely delighted with the food across all 5 courses. The service was phenomenal. We received good wine-pairing recommendations and were even offered a tour of the very beautiful (and superbly decorated) building. You don't have to spend as much as we did to enjoy good food and a lively atmosphere, there were plenty of options and the staff was delightful with everyone within earshot.

Everything was excellent! From the place with all the Christmas decorations, the friendly staff and the food. Special thanks to Nicolas, who was very kind and attentive. I’ll definitely recommend it and come back.

Teuer, lauwarm, zu rummelig, schade um das schöne Ambiente. Wir würden es nicht als Touristenfalle bezeichnen, aber das eigentlich schöne Ambiente wird durch Touristenrummel und hektische Kellner schon ziemlich ramponiert. Wir machten den Fehler und bestellten Getränke und Essen gleichzeitig. Der Grund lag allerdings in einer recht langen Wartezeit bis zu Bestellung. Dann kam unsere Suppe sehr schnell und leider VOR den Getränken. Die Maronensuppe, auf die wir uns so gefreut hatten, war leider nur lauwarm und hatte zuviel Essig im Geschmack. Vorher wurde uns das obligatorische € 6,- Brötchen (pro Person !) mit einem als Karamellbutter angekündigten faden Margarineaufstrich serviert. Die verspätete Lieferung der Getränke wurde mit der Überforderung der Bar erklärt, allerdings gab es keine Entschuldigung. Der Hauptgang ( Tafelspitz und Saibling) ließ dann lange auf sich warten und war für Preise um die € 40,- wirklich nichts besonderes, zumal schon wieder nur lauwarm! Der Service war unpersönlich und eher wenig aufmerksam. Schade, das Ambiente - und wahrscheinlich auch die Küche- gäben mehr her. Aber man will offensichtlich aus dem Laden zuviel Umsatz rausquetschen.

Auf Grund der hohen Frequenz , war es unserer sehr engagierten Bedienung nicht möglich den Service zu leisten , damit der Aufenthalt dem Preis gerecht wird.

Wir saßen im "Nebenzimmer" gegenüber vom Haupthaus, unten neben dem Weihnachtsmarkt, die Tür war ständig auf und es war irgendwann super kalt und ungemütlich. Die Kellner haben öfter lauter diskutiert was schade war. Der Service war sehr freundlich aber nicht aufmerksam wie ich es mir von einem gehobenen Restaurant bei den Preisen erwarte.

While the food was very good we set the reservation for 9pm only to find when we sat down the kitchen was closing at 9:15pm so our meal was completely rushed. Our sever was ok but due to this also rushed then at the end explained why again and stood over us with tipping Traveling the past two weeks in Europe it was not only my most expensive meal but not one to savor. I don’t know why I had the option of booking at that time when it was closing.

A terrible disservice to Christmas dinner. 3.5 hours for 4 courses, surrounded by dissatisfied customers.

We visited here on the last day of our 8 day trip to Munich and Salzburg. What a beautiful place that was so festive for Christmas. The service is excellent and food was outstanding. It is expensive but we understand the history of the restaurant as well as the amazing dining experience. We took a walk around to explore the rooms. Just beautiful!

Wir bestellten Wiener Schnitzel, das enttäuschend war. Es war trocken und klein und schien direkt aus dem Gefrierschrank in die Fritteuse gekommen zu sein. Als Beilage gab es ein paar Kartoffeln und eine Zitrone. Das war nicht einmal eine Raststätte wert. Glücklicherweise war der Service gut und professionell und der Ort einzigartig.

Awful. Not the fine dining experience in a lovely restaurant we were expecting. In a room without any atmosphere, food was not good - we had better in the pub the night before. The prices were extortionate for the poor quality and room (can’t call it a restaurant)

Food is great. The best schnitzel in Austria without a doubt. Staff could be more friendly. You might get a bad table if the stag doesn't feel like preparing used tables. They also missed special requests in our order (no egg on tartare and no anchovies)

The food took 1 hour and 10 mins and we didn’t get to enjoy it at all. For the price we paid (which is very expensive) it was not justified at all, service was poor and we even got assigned a table behind the wall which was not very nice.

Very nice place, the duck plate was excellent and the stuff very kind. It is expensive enough. The prices could be lower.

It exceeded our expectations. The food is amazing, the cozy ambiance and decor added a lot to the experience. The staff from welcoming us in the front door to the waiters who served us at our table are all great.

Starters were very average, my main course was cold and when replaced it was only just Luke warm. Service from some of the staff was extremely abrupt although our main waiter was trying very hard but just too busy to be fully attentive. Did not live up to expectations at all, very disappointed.

I love the atmosphere of this place. The place was busy but the staff was wonderful. I would recommend this place to everyone in Salzburg.

We are a family of four (2 kids, 2 adults) who had Christmas day lunch at the restaurant. It was a set menu, except for the 12 year old who got to order al a carte. It was a wonderful experience- the decorations made the day unforgettable and the food was delicious. It was just the right amount of food (I was getting rather tired of huge Germanic portions). While expensive, I would recommend for a Chrtismas special occasion

Visited on Boxing Day for lunch. Was disappointed that we had to queue up behind people that hadn’t made reservations. Also it wasn’t that clear where the entrance to the restaurant actually was. The service was first class as was the food.

Amazing food, very small portions for spending $400 for two people to eat. Everything tasted great, especially the veal. The dishes were creative, fresh, and excellent. The only disappointment is how much you pay for very small portions. Also, all the staff were incredibly kind and helpful.

Wider Erwarten aufgrund der hohen Auslastung am 1. Weihnachtsfeiertag, sehr Konfus im Service und auch die Qualität des Essens!! Die warmen Gänge des Weihnachtsmenues waren lauwarm! Es kamen falsche Getränke und die langen Psusen während der Gänge waren eine Zumutung!

The table was not set properly when we were seated. We had to ask for napkins and cutlery. The service was incredibly slow, almost nonexistent. The drinks we ordered took about an hour to arrive. Everyone had left in our room so it was a very strange atmosphere as there was no music playing. No one came to check on us. (I eventually left our table to find our server to ask if our dessert was coming.) Food was fine but in no way worth the prices. Would not recommend or go back.

Came for Christmas Day dinner. The service atmospherr and food were excellent! We came here because of the history and we left with unforgettable memories!

Food wasn't as good as expected. Obvious it was Christmas Day, so they had a lot of people to serve. But service was slow, some food was cold and the very loud obnoxious Australians in our room tainted the meal.
