Very small but gemütliches old restaurant that serves delicious traditional food. Attentive service, great taste and big portions for very good value.

Great dining experience in a small traditional venue. Food was excellent I had the roast pork and the bread dumpling was outstanding and the sauce/gravy lovely. The Wiener schnitzel my husband had was huge and both came out super quickly . Great value at €57 incl tip

Two nights ago we ate an excellent meal at a Michelin starred restaurant. Though the presentation at Pauli Stubm was much more casual, the outstanding quality of the meal was the same. For anyone looking for a traditional Austrian fare, this is THE choice. All the stars for Pauli Stubm

Tolles Erlebnis! Uriges Gasthaus, typische österreichische Küche. Sehr freundliche Bedienung.

The food and staff were fantastic! We were a bit late due to train issues and the staff were very accommodating. The food was the best we’ve had thus far on our trip. Very authentic Austrian food which was sehr lecker!!

Sehr nette Bedienung, sehr aufmerksam und schnell. Das Essen war sehr lecker, ich hatte Kasnocken mit Salat. Das Ambiente ist urig und gemütlich.

Essen traumhaft. Urig, sympathisch, bodenständig. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen wieder.

Urige Kneipe in Salzburg. Sehr eng und laut - was aber vor allem auch am Nachbartisch lag - aber absolut professionelles, freundliches Personal, sehr gutes Essen und "griabig".

We had great dinner . Sitting on the terrace having breeze and good vibes . The food was execlent:we had a strater with Austria delicous. It was so good . The plate was huge and we hardly finished it . The waiter was fair to tell usnot to invite too much food because the plates are really big . So for main coase we order 2 pastos and they were great . 4 glasses of red wine "helped"to finish our great dinner . Go if you can find a table . We waited for 3 days...

Die Pauli Stubn ist ein echter Geheimtipp in Salzburg. Gutes Essen, exzellenter Service und ein absolutes Wohlfühlambiente. Großartig!

Staff and food were excellent, in both departments…. Off the beaten track, and as a tourist, it was nice to see locals enjoying the venue too… always a good sign

The location is beautiful, the servers are very nice. The food is just ok. After taking our orders the food came out within minutes - which lets us know it’s not super fresh. The raviolis were good. The spaetzle with bacon was basically pasta with a harden layer of cheese and lots of bacon thrown on top. All four members of our party tried it and it was tough and bland. Salads were decent. Steak was tough. Overall an ok meal with nice surroundings

The food was very good. The diners were mostly locals having dinner. It was up a flight of internal stairs and a left through a wooden door.

Schöner Abend mit super Service! Der Zwiebelrostbraten war einfach perfekt! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Delicious food in a fun, unique Bavarian-themed restaurant. Loved it!

Great ambience, good service and super food. Tucked away on a quiet side street, and up a flight of stairs you feel like you’ve discovered a secret spot. Obviously no secret to the locals though - and we wouldn’t have got a table if we hadn’t pre-booked. Greeted with a friendly smile we were taken straight to our table. Service was quick and helpful and the food - beautifully prepared traditional Austria cuisine - was delicious. And prices were very reasonable. A real find and we’ll be back when we return to Salzburg.
